The focus of the Design Subcommittee is to make plans for visual improvements to Downtown Ayden. The Design Subcommittee works on both public and private projects. They advise town staff about town initiated improvements and private property owners about facade improvements.
2009 goals for the Design Subcommittee include:
Developing plans for Downtown Streetscape Improvements
Work with designers and architects to prepare plans for a Downtown Pavillion
Advise town staff about downtown building facade grant applications
